And as a bit of a side discussion, has anyone heard the new Slipknot song "When All Hope is Gone"?

I mostly just use to like them (when I was like 9) because they seemed cool.

But their music got really boring, really fast.

it was like 7th grade for me and then i just progressively moved to heavier and more obscure genres

i only like kill 'em all, ride the lighting, and justice for all, and master of puppets. After that they got way too mainstream and started to sound like any other rock band out htere

This album is a lot more like the first 4. It does have some "new" Tallica influences but it is a lot closer to the first 4 than the rest of them. At least youtube and hear all the songs before you go out and say the album is crap.

I've heard em and i think they are ok(my Apocalypse is kinda cool and kill em' all esq. i must admit). just not exciting enough to listen to more than once. and trust me man it has nothing to do with being "hip" like i reallllly loath people who only think the obscure is cool and then as soon as it gains popularity they claim the band "sold out"... its just stupid lol

oh well. Nothing wrong with just not liking the songs.
