Turks engage PKK in Iraq

The Turks recently joined the Iraq invasion by occupying Kurdish territory in northern Iraq in order to "deal with" the Kurdish Workers Party, a revolutionary Kurdish faction known to do operations in Turkey as well as northern Iraq. The Kurdish Workers Party (also known as the P.K.K.) is a Marxist-Leninist organization. Recently the Turkish Army has opened fire upon PKK encampments.

What are your thoughts?

Its ridiculous that the US funds the PKK guerrillas in Iran but calls the fighters in Turkey and Iraq terrorists. The US certainly doesn't want Turkey invading because the Kurds were their last allies but they can't do anything about it because Turkey is fallowing all the guidelines if the "War on Terror".

Also, Turkey first invaded northern Iraq a while ago sop this should go in the politics forum.

The US is in no position to do anything because they're following the guidelines of the "War in Terror" exactly.

yeah I know but the guidlines are idiotic and kill a lot of inocent pepole and the turcish are leaving.
