yes Dimitris Christofias won the election in Cyprus, a country torn between Greece and Turkey, will he make a social paradise between the 2 nation or will he be another nobody president in europe ?

I don't know about a social paradise but he'll certainly be an improvement.

According to the Wiki article he described the collapse of the Soviet Union as a "crime against humanity". Personally, my trust of him is slight at best.

A Trotskyist (true Leninist) would have seen the end of the Soviet Union coming. The fact that the to-be president of Cyprus thinks that the collapse of the State-Capitalist monster of the Soviet Union was a bad thing, puts him right next to Stalin in my eyes.

It depends entirely on what context it was said in. Of course the collapse of the Soviet Union was predictable but still a victory for capitalism.

Many Germans overlooked the fact that Hitler was a bad guy simply because he promised to bring Germany from the ashes. Back then, Germany was in complete shambles. The Treaty of Paris guarenteed that Germany would be an oppressed nation forever. People back then had to wheel in BARRELFULS of money just to get bread. Hitler, the nationalistic guy he was, promised the German public that he would bring Germany back to greatness again. At first, he did. Hitler gave the German people cars (called Volkswagen), a decent standard of living, and free education for all.

Then he goes from good boy to bad boy by blaming the Jews. Reason?

The Jews are rich. Rich people are always scorned.

The Jews are STILL rich as hell today, backed by the United States. Hell, they EVEN have their own "country" called Israeli, which was ORIGINALLY Palelestinian. I honestly hold no sympathy to the Jews. They, despite 12 million of them killed by Hitler's SS and insanity, still go angry over every little thing that Germany does, leading the US to basically DEMAND Germany to apologize on the spot.

Now compare that to the Asian holocuast, committed by the Imperialist Japanese, who were supported by the Americans after the war, guarenteeing China and Korea (and all the way to the Dutch Islands) not a SINGLE chance to uncover the war crimes. Even today, Japan fully enjoys their booming economy, while not even having the balls to face their dark past. Thank the US-Japan "alliance" for that.
