Since Hugo Chavez came to power, inflation isn't rising as fast anymore, the living standards started increasing and the proportion of people living in poverty started to decrease rapidly

one of my friends have traveled through the south americas, talked with the people across guatemala and other regions, he said that chavez only talks but not much change has been done, and that all south americans hate people from usa, because they have ruined their lives.

It's not true that South Americans hate people from USA. They hate the USA, that's right.

How did USA fuck up the countries to the southern border? With shit like NAFTA, the Organization of American States, by supporting the military dictatorships (fascisms) in Chile, Nicaragua, Cuba, Brazil, Argentina, etc. largely via Operation Condor, by suporting popular repression in Mexico... there are lots of reasons why people in all of Latin America hate the US deeply.

Unfortunately, ignorance as prevalent as it is, makes a lot of people hate the country instead of the State which of course doesn't make much sense Although, in the case of USA, it's more understadable for how seemingly supportive of their government a great part of USA's popuplation has traditionally been. Either way, this support is also mostly out of ignorance and manipulation.
