its sad how these days everyone has moved on from the PC. Seriously guys, i have millions of games on the PC, and I'm the only PC gamer I can find.

Alex, pc gaming is sure alive, it was dead for a while but its all back, I mean.

Empire Total War, Dawn of Discovery, Demigod, The Sims 3, Spore Galactic expansion, Red Alert 3 Uprising, Theatre of War, Plants vs Zombies, Footballmannager 2010.

Most games above are good, and in 2010 the PC exclusives will be: Command and Conquer 4, Empire Total War Napoleon Wars(stand alone expansion) and StarCraft 2!

A huge amount of people still play PC, so no Alex not everyone moved from PC, I still play a Company of Heroes alot on PC while playing a lot on my 360, so yea and people don't have monster computers that support graphics like Crysis. And on a pc you gotta install the whole thing while on a console you just put the disc in and you are ready to play.

bullshit computer is cheapest and best
consoles where only made for the purpose for people to waste even more money, a console cost about 2000 dollars and each game cost 500
where a computer you can get cheap and use it all life and games you get free.

The thing is, PCs are flexible. Technology gets better, you can upgrade easily. No need buying a whole new console. On PCs, you can do much more than on Consoles, in addition to gaming. Also, top of the line equipment for PC equals or surpasses other consoles. For example, I used to have a 5.9 graphic card, with its own cooling hub, pipes, everything. It was twice as thick as normal, and it was awesome. But it got fried ( cooling clay melted) and so I got a newer one. For some reason, this newer one on Vista is only 5.3.
Anyone have TF2, COD, Battlefield collections, Il-2 Sturmovik, Burnout Paradise, Half Life episod Two, Portal, Need for Speed, etc, etc, etc?
If you were to get a game, get Il-2 Sturmovik. Its a really nice excellent game, in which you can Finnish, American, German,etc.

Technically, Consoles are PCs specialised in gaming. If you're proficient enough on the subject, you can modify a console to serve as a PC.

But yeah, all in all, PCs are m ore versatile and I definitely prefer gaming on them.

In fact, the US army is ordering hundreds of PS3s to make a supercomputer that uses LINUX OS. It apparently saves money, as IBM's are to expensive.

But consoles are still infinitely cheaper. And no, I do not in any way find PCs easier, since with them I DO have to keep upgrading. And they're wose for devolopers, since they have to make sure their games work with all configuartions of components. It sent me over the edge when I found out that my graphics card would not work with one specific game, and I needed a $200 new one. That wasn;t hapening, I didn;t bother to play that game for years until we upgraded. (Game sucked by the way.) Consoles are the headache free way to game.
