| I just got written up, 1 more and I'm terminated. Wanna know what for? My numbers were lower than what they should be....but because of revenue I only worked 1 day in two weeks. How in hell am I suppossed to have comparable numbers?
Might I add that I only worked that little bit because we were told to cut down to such small hours due to low revenue.

| That's a retarded reason. Just because you couldn't keep up "with the qouta"? I told you so. Capitalist America considers the workers as a "machine" to boost the workforce behind war and imperialism. Just look at the gas companies. | |

| I empathize with you, Raptor. I'm sure I'll get canned soon for low sales, but honestly, who's buying things other than the essentials nowadays?
Shit sucks. | |

Damn thats sad (then again I tecnicaly don't have a job...). I'd be more motivated if the System wasnt corrupt. You'd be supprised how many determined workers I've seen get layed off.

| money my friend, money. I got university classes, books, gas, food, etc to pay for. Granted I'm still living at my parents' house but when I need money to save up so when I do get out I don't need to go mooching. I'm gonna go to Digipen when I'm done this. I'd be all the way on the opposite coast. | |

likely story I always assumed that Capitalism is what breeds the notion that working is only for money. They devalue the idea of a work ethic, and replace it with a desire solely based on monetary gain. Hence the unfortunate notion held by today's society that an education isn't actually about learning or gaining knowledge: it's about equipping yourself for a career. If I did a job that I genuinely enjoyed, I wouldn't mind getting a low pay. I truly mean that. Unfortunately, I also need a college education to do that job, and to do that I need money, and to get money I need to do a job that I currently hate, because I'm not "educated" enough for a well-paying and personally-rewarding job. It's a vicious circle.

Yeah, I don't really know why I put myself under Social Democrat. I can see having a state under Capitalism, if it is highly, HIGHLY monitored, restricts big businesses, taxes the rich, and puts monetary equity before making a profit. But I know that it is an inherently shitty system and it can't stand on its own two feet for long. I don't think I have to go at length about that, because I think we're both in agreement there. I'm really more of a Socialist. Whatever, though. It puts my name in yellow, so it looks cool.
