All Things Are Nothing To Me!

In my unending pursuit of learning about things political, and upon deciding whether I was a Collectivist or Individualist sort of Anarchist (Which I kind of already knew which one I was anyway.), I came upon Max Stirner's "The Ego And Its Own", which is perhaps the authority on Individualist Anarchism, as well as Egoism. It had a great influence on me; not in the sense that I support what Stirner had to say, but that he helped push me to Collectivist-oriented Anarchism.

Anyway, here is the opening passage of his book: Click Me!

My question - or rather Stirner's question - is this:

What are the moral implications in acting only in one's own self-interest?

I thought about it for a few minutes but thats all I came up with.

Agreed. Asshole.

One becomes similar to Ayn Rand? That's bad enough, IMO.
