It greatly depends on wether you see it from a Marxist perspective or from a perspective that doesn't really make much sense.

In Marxist terms, Socialism and communism are the same thing.

Can you quote a sentence where Marx said that socialism and communism is the same thing? If it was same, why would it have 2 names?

Why do you think The manifest is a bible? And why the dogmatic approach?
Socialist ideology evolves, just like life itself.

Marx used communism to dissociate from the utopic socialists of their time.

I don't care about the manifest at all, just as many other revolutionaires. There are much more important works by Marx.

Socialism cannot evolve into something that opposes it, it's not matter of being dogmatic but objective.

You're talking about 2 extremes.. on the opposite end of the political spectrum. Helps always to learn for yourself than have someone tell you what you should believe.... and that those wanting you to believe something don't always have YOUR interests at heart.... just their interests.

Lurked, marked some read, others not so much. Apathy is the word of the day here. I have a degree in political science.... I don't care for it much because of the way the "game" is played. Sure, more women are getting into politics......... if they can lift their skirt high enough (or threaten to bite it off).

But overall, politics is still 2 things:
1) The rich will get richer on the backs of the poorest (socialism, communism and capitalism, let's not even bother with the rest, they fall somewhere in the middle of all these)
2) It's still a game for the "good ole boys"

And please tell me the majority of people on here aren't 14-18 (that's what I keep seeing as I scroll)

Evidently you are not quite aware of what communism is. I assume that you believe Communism is what was implemented in the USSR and other alike systems. If so, then you definitely have a wrong concept of what communism stands for.

As for socialism being different from communism, it's merely a matter of semantics. Marx and Engels used Scientific Socialism to refer to the system they proposed and adopted "Communism" to name it to differentiate from the Utopic Socialists of their times. They borrowed that term from workers' movements that employed it to refer to Scientific Socialism.

Kenzu is 23, I'm 20 soon 21, Tyrong is about to be 22, Antifa is 38-39, Cyprian is 27, BC and WWWW are 19 almost 20, RedRevolution17 is 23... we got plenty of people 19 and older.

However I don't see how that is at all relevant.
