Depends on the war....Example: .Vietnam-North Vietnamese Govt. .Spanish American War- the entire US (people, buisness,Govt.,Military) .WWII-The allies (mostly the USSR, they gained power and we couldn't do anything because the Nazis wouldn't have lost as soon as they did if the Soviet Union didn't declare war on Germany-the Germans fault-). - Kenzu wrote:
who do you mean by america? The government or the corporations that lobby it? Good point. America can't be defined as America it is to diverce. And if you haven't realized it the United States is plural, they planned it to have several states deciding how the country was run, they also planned to let big business make key decisions, they after all controll the economy and know what is best for it(not neccisarly true). Meaning every one-every organization-is equal (not neccisarly true) one part of the Goverment says lets go help Africa, but another says no. They cancel each other out meaning we don't do anything. ADMIN SIDENOTE: This was a double post!

I have friends who have similar delusions but using lobbies is being open about corporations and private interests to buy the votes of politicians.

It's true, I live in a town that was a military fort during the civil war. We have confederate graveyards everywhere. There is still A LOT of tension between the North and the South. I know you guys in other countries don't really get to hear about that stuff but many people still wish the south should have won. |

You would be supprised by the number of people who deny, or don't know that Virginia (the capital of CSA) is South of the Mason Dixon.
