Tensions grow between Georgia and Russia

The country of Georgia (not US state) has been taking steps to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). This has not bidden well with the Russian federation, which has tried to gain back influence in the fledgling Georgian state since the break-up of the Soviet Union . The announcement of Georgia's plan to join NATO prompted Moscow to issue "warnings" and economic sanctions against Georgia. Although the Russian Federation has now repealed the economic sanctions, Georgia's deputy minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration claims that the Russian Federation is still "blackmailing" the Georgian government. Official talks concerning Georgia's NATO membership will be held in April in Bucharest (the Romanian capital).

NATO still wants as many former Eastern-Bloc countries to join so they'll be encouraging it.

It is well known that NATO not only encourages but even finances countries in order to join their ranks or at least support their agenda.

That's when Russia started building missile silos at it's embassy and almost invaded Iceland but NATO resumed defense just in the knick of time and foiled Russia's evil plans.

I took the exampel becuse nato is obligated to have patroles in icelandic airspace wethere it's needed or not.

I would get it confused with thw Washington Consensus but they're basically the same thing.
