Yes, there would be churches and temples in Communism and they would function that way. However there would be no teocratic hierarchy, that is you wouldn't be able to "work as a priest". If you're Jewish you got to be a Rabbii and something else, an Imam the same, a priest the same. Unless the community agreed to provide you with basic needs by sharing each part of their goods.

There will be. Communism to exist has to allow such a personal freedom to individuals.
