Oh, alright the. It's true that so called "communists" who make to many concessions to the bourgeoisie should be excluded from the party but again, as in Italy this was not possible as the controlled too large of a block and true communists were forced to break off and found another party. The only way to exclude bourgeois socialists in a situation like that is of the party operates on a Stalinist model but all true communist parties should operate an a Trotskyist model. Well, I think eclectic modes of operation work better. Take the best out of each model and add your own. I don't see any value in the Stalinist model as it is anti-Leninist.

| Communists do not represent poor people, they represent the working class, which includes poor people. I oppose this reformist parliamentarian program because it goes against the principles of scientific socialism. You are not going to gain supporters with this kind of program, just like there were no supporters without it. The supporters come when there is a time of economic crisis, which will not happen soon but it will come, and the conditions will be ripe for a communist revolution. | |

And i like to think more that Communism represents the people...not only the poor, workers, or liberals. I would help a down and out republican just as much as a democrat. Communism for the people is how we will have our peaceful revolution
Did I say I supported killing the opposition? I am not a Stalinist. I believe that if there is opposition they should be able to express their opinion. Communism does not represent all people, it represents the workers. It is diametrically opposed to the capitalists.

How can you not consider Communism as not for the people when the people are being exploited by the ceo's and others? please explain that to me. |

| I think we are just misunderstanding each other. I thought by "the people" you meant everyone including the CEO's that exploit the workers. By workers I meant the 99% of people that are being exploited. So we don't disagree we just misunderstood each other. | |

| I would say in develop(ing) nations especially 85% of the population constitutes as the proletariat. The petty-bourgeoisie are increasingly irrelevant, especially in Britain and the United States, but they still form a sizable chunk.
Thankfully "21st century socialism" has adopted New Left policies like multi-party democracy, democratic media, self-criticism, and decentralized worker control.

- Nope.
We're all talking about the poverty line which has nothing to do with relative poverty.
When you are below the poverty line, no matter what country you live in, it means you live poorly by all possible standards: have few food, have poor or no shelter at all, have poor to no access to health facilities, etc. BY this standards then saying 40% of americans are below poverty lines is not truths.
