With a treaty, usually, a peace treaty that is, no one wins or losses, right.
But in the Winter case, with the treaty there came peace, right, but Russia got some important land with recources from Finland, so Finland kinda lost, but both sides didnt really win or lose.

And yeah soviets kinda lost there, but after they retreated the afghan civil war just continiued so yea.

well we all know the soviets got there asses handed to them in the winter war. true men of democracy.

The Soviets army was still much larger, so it was a victory for Finland for it to have ended how it did.



Also the Korean war was lost due to a stalemate instead of a victory

Also the Vietnam war was lost due to The North taking over and the South surrendering and United States forces retreating, even though the US had larger army.

The US was kicked out by the south, due to their terrible handling of the war.
