| and YOU call yourself a liberal democrat?
blindly supporting the CIA? aside from pro programatically i doubt we have many varying political stances my friend.
The CIA is a specialized extension of the state that only furthers the oppressed's oppression. They have a nasty history of cracking down on blacks, especially during the civil rights movement.
Your precious democrats may peddle the illusion that they are the friends of the working people and blacks when their campaign is based on their reactionary stances against both...
A) the CIA doesn't find an internet forum of teens threatening to the capitalist state.
B) I'm sorry that as a capitalist democrat you wish to deny me my first amendment right. I think this is the epitome of the irrationality of capitalism
C) you're probably just like the rest of the blind "free tibet" rallyers that are trumpeting in the CIA in for counterrevolution when they have no clue that prior to the Chinese revolution women lived as slaves under the male priest lama class and ruled in a feudalist society. Life expectancy was 35, illiteracy ran rampant, and infant mortality rates were appalingly high. After the chinese revolution, slavery was abolished, modern medicine was delivered and life expectancy shot up to 65 and illiteracy rates declined because they DARED to free women. In the 60s the CIA founded the remaining bhuddist priests to ATTACK china. When the Chinese army revolted they were vilified as oppressive when in actuality they were defending their country. the "peaceful protests" are actually quite violent. While i don't defend the Beaurocratic regime, calling for counterrevolution is not the answer. A Political revolution that gives true democracy to the workers of china IS.
yet you are hostile towards me from having political beliefs you know nothing about.
oh the wisdom and leadership of the liberals is a great one |

the "peaceful protests" are actually quite violent. The CIA has NEVER cared for anybody. As soon as the "targets" change, they attack them not even caring about karma. Case and point: Soviet-Afghan War in 1980s. CIA blindly supported the guerrilla fighters with HI-TECH weapons such as the Stinger anti-aircraft missile and gave them American military training. No wonder those so-callled "terrorists" are inflicting mucho HURT upon the US occupiers. Free Tibet? lol, that makes me laugh. MarxFreeman is absolutely CORRECT on those so-called "peaceful protests". Yeah, it sure was peaceful for those crazy Dalai-funded rioters to destroy Chinese owned shops, overturn cars, and burn innocent girls to death. Then the Chiense police rushed to restore law and order, breaking the "peace" of those rioters burning and looting everything in their path. Yeah, rreeeeaaaaaalllllly peaceful alright.

anyone have a Worker's Vanguard subscription? I would hope we're all politically active, but some on this site are still young and may still be learning and shaping their political ideals. I do work with the ICL on ocassion (when i'm in NY) and i think they're a good group. I more enjoy working with the black panthers, they've got this undeniable spirit about them. Unfortunately i can only work with them when i'm out of state, because they don't have a presence (that i'm aware of) where i am. I also do some 'freelance' work with other comrades in the area, fly-posting, attending protests and strikes, etc. I did some teaching at some small seminars (but i'm not a great public speaker though). I'm trying to get out to New York for the April 19th protest on behalf of Abu-Jamal (but it's unlikely). I also want to go to MacArtur park for May Day 2008. It's gonna be nuts. It's hard to be active out here in Colorado though.

| I meant libertarian as in politically less authoritarian, not libertarian as in capitalist or reformism. I detest reformism. | |

| yeah the panthers have more bite but it is misguided...the forging of a black nation? blacks in america do not constitute a nation...and the evaluate society in races rather than classes...and most panthers have been funneled into the capitalist democratic party...We have historically fought to win them over to a class struggle perspective and into the ICL because they are/used to be very advanced politically in their refusal to believe that the state can be reformed to stop racism which is why they practiced armed self defense...
And how do you think the revolution will come about without a worker's party pannekoek? |

| a Vangaurd party is one that carries the task of a marxist workers party no matter what the surrounding political climate is.
Now our task is to represent marxism in a time of anti-communist reactionary backlash in a time where few are exposed to class struggle |

| So for the meantime I am okay with what your "vanguard" does. I just believe the revolution needs to be by the workers to be a true dictatorship of the proletariat. | |
